Japan:
My Strategy:
Japan must do two things in order to be a major factor in the
game. One: Hold ground in
the pacific. Keep a strong navy, and keep the US focused on naval battles, this
allows
Germany to take Russia easier. Two: Hold ground in Asia. If at all
possible advance into
Asia towards Russia. If the Asian territories have been taken from Japan, money will
be very
sparse, and just a matter of time before Japan is taken.
If the US's pacific fleet starts to get depleted, advance towards
them harder. Once a good
line of supply can be developed, take Hawaii, Alaska and Mexico. You may be able to
take
Hawaii and Alaska early.
What to Buy: Naval units ( subs,
transports, etc.). Once a good base has been made in Asia,
build an Industrial complex in a safe territory, but be careful, it will now be a target.
Other Strategies:
buy 2 Trans and 3 inf, Attack Perl Habor with whatever you find
necessary (all or just one BB,
sub, Bomb, 2 fighters)
attack and take china, move 4 inf to Manchuria with Trans along with your fighters.
Primary goal
for Japan is to take Asia and cash out bit, the next few turns push Russia bach and
takeout Sinking.
If US starts building a pacific navy (luck for Germany) then assemble your fleet in Japan
sz, but focus
on taking over land in Asia, use infantry and figters to take out enemy, normaly you
economy will be
just as great or greater then the US by turn 3-4 (30-36 ipc) and then you will have no
problem matching
the US buildup, if you need a extre turn just put a sub between you and the US fleet. And
if you strike
first (close to Japanise water) you will be able to use all of your firhters (5) + Bomber
+ 0-2 BB + Subs
Goooodby US investment.
